It looks like everything we discussed for the past three months fell on deaf ears.

what about all the digital data supporting Thomas North??

As North died in 1604 it is highly unlikely he could have anticipated the particular requirements of Cecil’s entertainment. There is little doubt that the names were sourced from Plutarch in Shakespeare’s adaptation, I will consider sources in a future post. I have explained to Dennis why his methodology (using plagiarism software to identify distinctive collocations) doesn’t provide the evidence he thinks it does. Will probably expand that in a post here at some point as it spills over to the work of Vickers and Freebury-Jones.

Dave, this is great news imbedded in your article and is music to my ears. Are you attending the North “Cambridge style” debate sponsored by SAR next week? Question: since Peter Hodges is a dedicated Marlovian, why is he debating if the purpose is to lay out the North evidence, bookended by polling the SAR audience? I’ve never seen this type of debate so maybe my question will get answered but I am hoping that North evidence will be weighed on its merits without another candidate being in the mix.

I have no plans to propose alternative candidates. The resolution calls for a yes or no on the possibility that North wrote Brooke's pre-Romeus and Juliet play. That's good enough for me.

As I caught up on your posts tonight regarding North and A Winters Tale, I see that Dennis M invited you to a debate. So perhaps the same happened with Peter H.
